Lisa Hanson
Equine Director


Lisa earned a BA degree from the University of Oklahoma in Education, with a focus on Psychology, and is state certified to teach regular Education as well as Special Education. She has over 10 years of experience teaching in public schools, specializing in behaviorally challenged youth. Lisa also has special certifications in Autism, Mild to Moderate Disabilities and Social Studies. She has exceeded 500 hours of professional development dealing with a variety of behavior management techniques and methodologies for behaviorally challenged youth. She has also been a business owner/operator and a volunteer mentor and tutor for several youth organizations. Her unique experience and continued education make Lisa a key part of the success of Resolution Ranch Academy.


Lisa enjoys spending quality time with her two sons, Dillon and Dalton. Her hobbies include anything involving quarter horses, from breeding and raising to rodeo and showing.  Lisa is very excited to be part of the Resolution Ranch family.
